[aadl]: SAE AADL News August 2004

Dear all,

exciting things have happened over the last two months.

    * The SAE AADL draft V0.994 was approved by the subcommittee at our
      July meeting. The document is now with SAE for publication review.
    * We have given a number of tutorials with good participation from
      companies and tool vendors.  For more information about upcoming
      events check Schedule of Events at our website www.aadl.info.
    * We will be givning a 9 hour version of the SAE AADL tutorial with
      model examples and a demonstration of the open source tool set at
      the Digital Avionics Systems Conference 2004
    * We have an all-day track at the upcoming SAE World Aviation
      Congress on Nov 3 in Reno, Nevada.

Finally, the beta release of the open source AADL Tool Environment, 
which is based on Eclipse, is now available for download on the website 
www.aadl.info.
