[aadl]: SAE AADL News

Dear all,

four annexes to the AADL standard have been published by SAE as a single 
document 
(http://www.sae.org/servlets/productDetail?PROD_TYP=STD&PROD_CD=AS5506/1).
The annexes are: graphical notation, AADL meta model and XML/XMI,  
Language Compliance and Application Program Interface,  and the Error 
Modeling language extension to AADL.

A prototype implementation of a front-end for the Error Modeling is 
available from the SEI. It will be part of the next release of OSATE.

OSATE-BA 0.1.0 (OSATE extension for Behavioural Annex) has been released 
by Airbus.
This version supports textual edition and parsing of AADL behavioural 
annex. The AADL tree editor can also be used.
A short tutorial and a few *.aadl examples will be available soon. You 
can download OSATE-BA at http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/frs/?group_id=37 .

The following release dates are planned for joint releases of OSATE and 
TOPCASED:  mid-Sept 2006,  mid-Nov 2006, year-end 2006.
