All,

We've received a number of inputs and it looks best to have the meeting
July 8-12 in Pittsburgh.

We'll send out hotel info and room information before the draft agenda.

Thanks for your assistance!

Bruce

All,

Peter Feiler and Julien have been investigating the possibility of
having the next AADL meeting in Pittsburgh July 8-12.
There seems to be a number of benefits to the change.

1. Several of the SAVI implementers can attend and this is the right
time for closer interaction for their experiment to have a stronger AADL
impact. There would be no other opportunity at an AADL meeting to impact
this experiment.

2. Steve Miller would be able to attend and do a presentation of the
Rockwell SysML to AADL toolset which is now being updated on SAVI and
will be made available.

3. Several of our members will not be able to attend who would have been
giving presentations. I did not find out until the end of the meeting.
Also I'm not able to travel OCONUS I've now been informed. Given
Montreal and Toulouse, the next two would be international.

4. The June meeting is just 8 weeks from our April meeting.

5. The SEI is interested in sponsoring the meeting in Pittsburgh at
their facility the week of July 8-12. No fee as is Paris.

I think that the opportunity to meet with SAVI is an outstanding time
critical opportunity to advance AADL penetration. It may result in
stronger insertion of AADL analysis/tools. In addition, they are now
the heaviest users of the new error model annex and given that we are
preparing for ballot on the error model annex, their input in person at
the meeting would be quite valuable. Please let me know how this
would affect your attendance, either enabling if you were not attending
in Paris, or preventing if you were attending in Paris and any advice
soon. I want to make a decision this week.

Thanks, Bruce

All,

Jean-Pierre Talpin has provided a white paper for his recommendations
for a Synchronous Timing Annex for AADL. He will be discussing this
white paper during the meeting. See agenda. We also have an updated
Error Modeling Annex that Peter sent earlier and an updated Requirements
Annex that Dominique supplied earlier. Please review these documents
prior to the meeting and provide input to the author as well as Peter
Feiler and myself. Presentation authors, please provide your
presentations the day before the presentation so we are ready to put
them up for the webex.
