[aadl]: The SAE AADL Standard is official and available

Dear all,

we wanted to let you know that the SAE AADL Standard, AS5506 has be released for publication.  Its approved at all levels, final format accepted, and release documents provided.  
The AADL standard has been published and is available for purchase at the
link below.

Anyone interested may also find it directly from the SAE web site:

The AADL Meta Model and XML/XMI interchange format annex, the graphical notation Annex, the Language Compliance and Application Prgram Interface Annex for Ada and C, as well as the UML profile for the AADL are in review.  They will go into informal ballot in Dec 2004 and into formal ballot by Feb 2005. 

The Error Model Annex for reliability modeling is actively being worked and will enter a review phase in early 2005.

A new release of the OSATE Tool Environment will be available later this month. It will be compliant with the officially published standard.
