Dear AADL Committee members and Users,

Now that AADLv2.3 has been published, Jerome and I would like to
establish a regular teleconference schedule for 1/ technology updates on
tools or projects and 2/ discussions on pending issues with the AADL
core language or annexes. We propose to have regular teleconferences in
addition to face to face meetings.

1. Technology updates would be once per month, for at most 1 hour
starting at 11am EST. We will scout for potential speakers and you are
encouraged to submit proposals as well.  This would be 10AM Central, 5PM
in Europe and 8AM PT.

2. Standard discussion would be also once per month, for approximately
1.5 hours starting at 11am EST.

Both meetings would be on either Tuesday or Wednesday, either on the
same week (e.g. Tuesday and Wednesday) or on different weeks (e.g. two
weeks apart) depending on your feedback. Hence, we request your inputs
on which days and weeks of a typical month you would expect to be
available.

For 2., it is critical we have a strong group of regular contributors,
just as we would have in a face to face meeting.

Let us know what works for you.  For instance:

Will Tuesday and Wednesday work for you at the selected times?  If not
what days?

Will two in the same week or do you need/prefer alternate weeks?

Would you be able to start with Oct 25-26th, Tuesday and Wednesday as above?

Next topic - Face to Face Meeting in Fort Worth:

The next face to face AADL meeting we have scheduled is during the
Aerotech meeting in Fort Worth, March 14-16, with the AADL meeting
Monday to Wednesday noon, March 13-15, 2023.    We currently have 4
papers.  Abstracts are now open again until Oct 31.  You can submit for
a presentation, a paper only, or both presentation or paper.  If you are
unable to travel we can probably organize for someone to present your
paper.   Abstracts require a short one paragraph description of the
paper/presentation.

Mark your calendars.

Thanks!

Bruce and Jerome,
