Subject: Hotels for the July 25-28 meeting in Aachen (UNCLASSIFIED)

CLASSIFICATION: UNCLASSIFIED

Dear All,

Here's the info on hotels and transport to Aachen.

>From Thomas Noll,

Frankfurt is the biggest airport in our proximity, approx. 2 h by train to/from Aachen. Moreover, there are two closer (but smaller) German airports (Düsseldorf and Cologne) and another one at Brussels, Belgium (90 mins, http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/).

You can find more detailed information at <https://www.comsys.rwth-aachen.de/fileadmin/misc/how-to-get-to-comsys.pdf>.
(The ComSys research group that provides this information is not our group but is located in the building where the AADL meeting will be organized.) It also lists recommendable hotel. For the actual reservation I can recommend the "usual suspects" booking.com and hrs.com as well as the Aachen-specific site <http://aachen.de/DE/tourismus_stadtinfo/130_onlinebuchen/index.asp>.

I'm planning to arrive in Frankfurt and take the train. Have not made the hotel reservations yet. If you have a recommendation, let me know.

Thanks,
Bruce
